Both traditional and European. You will visit the pitcher store and will se a “Kvevri” large earthenware vessels used for the fermentation, storage and ageing of traditional Georgian wine. Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Uflistsikhe – Akhaltsike

Drive to Mtskheta. Here you can see outstanding examples of medieval religious architecture in the Caucasus. With Jvari monastery and Svetitskhoveli catedral you will have a trip in the past. Local wine cellar will be next to compare wine taste of diferent ragions. Continue to Uplistsike ancient cave town hewn into the rock.   Its history begins in the I-II millennium B.C. Inside the town you will have another wine degustationin in a small tradicional celler. Drive to Akhaltsikhe

 Rabati – Akhaltsikhe cellar – Vardzia – Akhaltsike

First you will visit Rabati caste. Within the 7 hectares castle complex there is a Church, a Mosque, a Minaret and a Synagogue.  Next stop will be Akhaltsike celler. You will agree that it is interesting to taste wine made in a region with a subalpine climate. Here, you will get a chance to taste some of the delicious vines and tradtional food. There is a saying – “Guest is from God” and we mean it. You will feel special in a very special place. Next stop Cave monastery complex-Vardzia. Monastery complex, carved in a rock, XII-XIII Century Georgian picturesque monument. Infrastructure includes access tunnels, water facilities, and provision for defense. Here one more time you will see how old is wine-making culture in Georgia and how in XII century georgian people where making wine. Overnight in Akhaltsikhe.

 Akhaltsike – Gori – Tbilisi

Drive to Gori. One more experienace of wine tasting and making culture with a profesional sommelier. Drive to Tbilisi. Afternoon free. Gala dinner with folk music and traditional dance.
